Typology review (PR)

Typology review (PR) Hello you lovely lot! I hope you've been having a great summer full of fun, adventures and plenty of spf! Over the summer I have been trying out the wonderful French brand that is Typology, I was lucky enough to receive a personalised skincare routine from them to try out and I have been loving it! But before I delve into my thoughts about that I thought I would share a little information on this brand first!  The brand Typology is a French brand that has the following mission statement:  "To demystify skincare with simple, straight-talking transparency. We make naturally active, effective and sustainable skincare in France"  The founder of this wonderful brand, Ning Li, wanted to take skincare back to basics due to the the world of skincare fast becoming a chemical based  industry with exaggerated promises at the heart. In order to challenge this industry, Ning, along wit...

My April Favourites

Image
Hi guys! Another month has passed, another month where I've been trying and loving a variety of beauty products! I hope that your April has gone well,  mine was great and makeup filled due to it being my Birthday month!  1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Foundation - £43  I cannot believe that this foundation hasn't been in my favourites yet because I've been trying it and loving it for well over a year now. This product has great coverage, lasts all day without a problem and blends like a dream using a beauty sponge. Despite it's high price tag I would definitely say it's worth being part of any persons collection because it's just THAT good! I also love that it has got a great shade range which caters for everyone and is so lightweight on. As for it being luminous... its the best glory foundation I've tried (and I've tried A LOT) for those who also have dry skin. Overall, this is a great foundation tha...

My March Favourites

Image
Hello and welcome to another favourites post! I can't quite believe that March is over but I am so ready for April and the nicer weather I hope that it will bring with it! This month has been the first full month this year that I have been at work and this has meant I've been wearing a bit more make up! So with that in mind here are my March favourites... 1. Colourpop X Animal Crossing Pressed Powder Blush (Flower Tender)- $12 To be completely honest with you I have never been a huge blusher fan, I have very rosy cheeks already which often comes through my foundation so I never felt the need to add more colour to that area. However, in the last few months I've been trying out a few blush products on top of full-coverage foundations and I've actually really loved the look they have given me. Out of all of the blushes I've tried I think I've enjoyed this colourpop one the most! It's a beautiful light pink shade with a hint of shimme...

My February Favourites

Image
Hi guys!  I hope you are well and your February has been a little brighter then January! For me, this month has been a lot better due to the lighter nights and mornings- I feel like spring is really on her way! I have also played with a lot more makeup and skincare this month which is always a winner...so here is what I have been loving this month!   Soap and Glory Call of Fruity Bubble in Paradise Shower Gel- £6.50 To be completely honest, I picked this shower gel up completely at random about a month ago because there was a Boots points offer on Soap and Glory and I wanted to bump my points up to buy something with them. However, once I got home and started using it I fell in love! Of corse it does what most basic shower gels do, cleans you-  but this is just so much better than the ones I usually use! It bubbles up really easily and a little bit goes a long way which is why after a month I've hardly made a dent in it! I...

My January 2021 Favourites!

Image
Well It's finally the end of January- for many the most depressing month in the calendar year! This month has been a bit crazy for those of us that live in the UK as we've gone into yet another lockdown! I don't know about anyone else but this has meant minimal make up for me on most days! However, I still have managed to find a few favourite products this month to share with you... Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation - £34 For me, foundation is one of the most important parts of my make up routine so to call a product my favourite foundation it is a BIG deal but I have no hesitation in calling this Charlotte Tilbury product my new favourite! There are so many great things about this product: the packaging, the coverage, the blend ability but I think the thing that makes it stand out is that it doesn't budge! I will often wear this underneath a mask for hours on end at work and when I take it off there is little to no foundation residue on the mask- some...

My 2020 Favourites!

Image
2020 has been a weird and terrifying year for us all and I don't know about you but I happened to have quite a bit of spare time on my hands which I wouldn't usually! Due to this I was able to play with and use beauty items a bit more than usual (I also bought a lot more than usual too but let's not talk about that!). Therefore I have been able to discover a few new favourites over the past year so I thought I would share them with you!  1. LancĂ´me Monsieur Big Mascara  I have always found it tough to find a Mascara that I really love, Benefit BadGal Bang has always been my go to with a few others being used as back ups but never really comparing. However, this year was the year of Mascaras foe me! I found a few that I really loved but this Lancome one definitely topped the list. I found that this mascara is really volumising, lengthens the lashes beautifully and doesn't smudge. It's so easy to apply and coats the lashes easily without making them clumpy and with no...
