My February Favourites

Hi guys!

I hope you are well and your February has been a little brighter then January! For me, this month has been a lot better due to the lighter nights and mornings- I feel like spring is really on her way! I have also played with a lot more makeup and skincare this month which is always a winner...so here is what I have been loving this month!

Soap and Glory Call of Fruity Bubble in Paradise Shower Gel- £6.50

To be completely honest, I picked this shower gel up completely at random about a month ago because there was a Boots points offer on Soap and Glory and I wanted to bump my points up to buy something with them. However, once I got home and started using it I fell in love! Of corse it does what most basic shower gels do, cleans you-  but this is just so much better than the ones I usually use! It bubbles up really easily and a little bit goes a long way which is why after a month I've hardly made a dent in it! It also leaves the skin feeling silky smooth in a way that the other shower gel's I usually use just don't! Finally, the smell.... wow oh wow! It smells quite sweet but in a really fruity way! This is a scent used across the 'Call of Fruity' range and I can honestly say I will be trying more from the range just from the scent- It's that good! Although for me £6.50 is quite a lot for a shower gel I believe that this really is worth it and Boots always have offers on this brand (for example it's currently only £4.33 on their website).

Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser- £4.29

If you haven't used this moisturiser before you must be living under a rock..it is  just a cult classic for me, it's one that I have probably mentioned in my favourites before and I definitely will do again- I'm just obsessed with the stuff! I use this Simple moisturiser every day and find that it never lets me down in fully hydrating my skin, leaving it feel fresh and glory every time! I also love that it is so lightweight and suitable for sensitive skin- you're getting so much from this product at such a low price! Don't get me wrong I love more pricey moisturisers too like Glow Recipe Banana Souffle and Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream which probably have added benefits but I can't help going back to this day in and day out because it never fails. One thing to note is that although £4.29 is an amazing price already if you check your local supermarket, Amazon etc you are likely to get it at half of this price!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara- £9.99

This product is another that you must've heard of by now, TikTok
creators have been going wild for it and I had to jump on the bandwagon and try it out this month. I did a first impressions review of it on my Instagram and on that I claimed that after 2 uses it was my new favourite- I can now confirm that after about 10/15 uses it is still a firm favourite! The difference between  my lashes on their own and a couple of coats of this is just crazy- it lengthens and curls the lashes in a way that makes them look fake- a look I can rarely achieve with my super straight lashes! I can honestly say I don't think I will ever stop being amazed when I try this product and it's another favourite that is great value for money! Both Boots and Superdrug have done deals already such a 3 for 2 or 2 for £12 so keep an eye out for those so you can get great value for money! You need to try this!!

Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer- £22

I love a good primer so much so to put one in my monthly favourites is a big deal- it has to be a good one to be added to this list! I've had this Fenty one for a while now and have really started to get into it recently. It does all of the usual great stuff- it's pore filling and anti-shine but one of my favourite things is how it leaves my skin feeling after use! I have found that my skin feels very soft and moisturised after use- something that I find a lot of primers fail to achieve. It also works really well with every foundation I've used it with (these range from low to high coverage and both dewy and matte finishes). Although it's a little pricey at £22 I think it's definitely worth it for the way your skin feels after and how well it works with so many foundations!

So there you have it... my February favourites! These products all hold a special place in my heart and I will continue to use them next month and for many after that I'm sure! 💋
