November Favourites

November has been quite crazy for most people in the UK, for the majority of it we were placed in a Lockdown and even though I'm a key worker I had to isolate for 2 weeks so I was house bound for far longer than normal! As annoying as this situation was it did allow me to play with (and purchase) more makeup which is always a winner! So I've decided to do a post dedicated to my November beauty favourites!

1. Huda Beauty Life Eyeliner- £22

I've had this dual ended liner for a few months now but was able to properly get to grips with it this month! I love the fact that it has a liquid and a kohl liner all in one because personally that it what makes an eye look for me- liquid on the lid and kohl on the waterline so this products ensures that I don't have to keep swapping products out of my collection and saves a bit of space when travelling. At first it took me a few goes to get to grips with the liquid end as I usually use a pen style liner like the KVD Tattoo Liner or the Too Faced Better Than Sex Liner. However after getting the hang of dipping a couple of times it creates a beautiful look! It stays in place all day and is a lovely black that doesn't smudge easily at all.

2. Garnier Ambre Solaire anti-aging cream- £12

I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that before this summer I didn't use SPF daily and it's only after watching a Youtube video about the benefits that I bought this 50 SPF cream. I have used it daily for the past month and I especially enjoy it to other similar products I have tried in the past 6 months. It feels light on the skin and sinks in beautifully. It also doesn't dry the skin out- a problem I regularly have with this type of product. In addition to this, it is not expensive compared to others I've tried and lasts for a long time!

3. Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer -£12.99

I've heard so many good things about this bronzer and finally got round to testing it this month. I've found that it lives up to some of my more expensive products like Hoola and Nars on the basis of it's pigment, blend ability and how it doesn't go patchy! This is another affordable product that I think will continue to be a staple in my collection. I also love how cute the packaging is and how it smells amazing! They also have a good shade range which is amazing for catering to different skin types.

4. Huda Gold Palette - £27

As soon as this palette came out I just knew I had to buy it, especially with Christmas around the corner! I have quite a few Huda eyeshadows so I knew I wouldn't be gambling with the formula...and I was right! This 9-pan beauty is highly pigmented and the colours blend into each other beautifully. The shimmers especially are amazing and give any eye look a pop! I have found that I am able to create a variety of looks with this palette which can be tricky with products of this size. If you're looking for a Christmassy palette then no need to look any further!

5. Maybelline Lash Sensational- £8.99

I must admit that this Mascara is not a new favourite of mine...rather a rediscovered one! I've used this mascara on and off for as long as I can remember, I've gone through so many tubes I can't count and I always come back to it! It's just so affordable and does the job so well. Straight eyelashes is a real problem for me and whenever I'm feeling like a need a bit of volume and curl I automatically reach for this! Amongst other things I find that it doesn't smudge or transfer- something that it definitely a worry in these winter months! I'm so glad I've been using this mascara more again recently and I think it will always have a place as a favourite in my collection.
